Disgusted by the customer service
The customer service here is absolutely terrible. I bought a 2010 genesis coupe and they told me as soon as I faxed over the inspection papers they would get it taken care of and send me my tags. It's been a month, my temporary tags are expired and I still haven't received my tags from them. I have called plenty of times and all they tell me is "we will have our financial manager call you within 15 minutes" but he never calls. They are obviously trying to avoid me because they haven't done their job and because of that I can't drive my car in fear of getting pulled over for expired temporary tags. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM HERE BEWARE.
Bought Altima from Chapman and experience was amazing
I'm new to this country and first time purchasing a car, before that I have done lot of search and came to conclusion that either I should wait few more months or buy now with heavy down payment and interest rate but luckily I met Chapman Nissan. Discussed with them about my requirement and budget and they did understand it and were dedicated to make this deal happen and came up with aggressive pricing and payment options which really fits into my pocket which is something like "solution from out of box" for persons like me. They really have a excellent team and I'm really thankful to below persons with whom I have interacted: - Carrie Allison, David Down & JJ, for the excellent communications and convincing me to come to this dealership and getting all the pre-approvals done to smoothen the process. - Chris Cusey, for excellent salesmanship w.r.t car's feature demonstration and financing options. I'm very much pleased with this dealership and the incredible people that work there ! and I do hope that same treatment will be provided to me for the car service and maintenance.
First time shopping for a new car and they made this experience amazing. They were suppose to be closing at 6pm but they stayed until 8pm making sure we finished the deal properly. They also made sure they worked with my budget and got me my dream car! ABSOLUTELY GO TO CHAPMAN NISSAN (6925 Essington Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. 19153). The two people I worked with directly were Santos Laureano (showed all the car options) and Jonpaul Handy (worked with the finances). Words cannot express how pleased I am with this dealership and the incredible people that work there!

I am a very opionated person and I have yet to be dissapointed with the service, care and professionalism I receive when ever I go to my dealership. I have always taken my car in for service since I purchased my Rogue at Chapman on Essington Ave. I recently convienced my daughter to do the same with her Nissan Altima (she was pleased and will continue to do so). I purchased a vehicle in November of 2013 and had an issue with it almost immediately . I called/returned to the dealer and they unit all told me basically there was nothing that were going to do for me but after a few weeks of returning back to the dealership they finally swapped a part from another vehicle . I than had/have and issue with another part of the car and tool the vehicle back to the dealer 3x's I was told there was nothing else they could do and they "exhausted" all their resources but yet my vehicle still looked the same since the first time I brought it back and since they "fixed" it. So I got the surveys in email from the initial purchase and the service work and I was 100% honest in my answers and I had the Sales manager and the service manager call/text me within 24hrs wanting to know why I did not give them all 10's when the survey clearly asks if any of my answers were influenced by anyone at the dealership. Seems to me that "tried" to influence my answers but I was honest . I than returned to the dealer to attempt to trade the vehicle in and get a apprasil . They appraised my vehicle and it was way to low so I told the sales person that I was offered more value for the car at another dealer , their reply was "when u purchased your car here we did some repair work and you gave us a bad review " which cost us (the dealer) thousands of dollars so we will not give you more for your trade. STAY AWAY

Do not go here for any reason, stay far away!
I bought a 2013 Altima with 30000 miles on it. Drove it off the lot and when we woke up the next morning the tire was low. Turns out there was a screw in it. Came back the next day they said I need to buy a new tire because they could not plug it. I went to the spot my car was parked in on their lot and found another screw sitting their. I brought it I and they said "we don't use those screws". So basically called me a lair and implied I just keep one of those scews in my pocket all the time. I didn't even know it was a screw until they showed me when my car was up on the lift, it was on the inner part of the tire. Then when I got all the way home the tire pressure gage went off again. I had to drive it all the way back. The mechanic said "sorry I forgot to reset it." A few days later we found out the rear passenger auto lock did not work, well even worse it worked some of the time! I live in Philly and when you hit your lock button you expect your car to not be able to get into unless the break in but no sometimes the back door would be unlocked becuase at Random it would auto lock would work to unlock it but not lock it. We also started hearing a rattle in the dash. It happens with certain songs and when you hit certain bumps. They say it's near impossible to fix that. So just do your self a favor and stay away! Also, tried to get a water from the vending machine and nope got another dollar from the cashier. Tried to get a different water and still nothing happened. She then asked "are you trying to get a water?" I said yes. Then she says why did you try to do it again. I said I tried a different one. She said we have a water fountain around the corner. The entire time it was with a confisending attitude treating me like an idiot for trying to get a water out of a vending machine. Oh silly me for expecting that to work......STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

I just brought a 2014 Nissan Versa Sedan and my experience was great. I went on a friday and my mind was made up and I walked off the lot with my brand new care that monday afternoon. My salesperson name was Jody Mccoy and I loved him. He was very courteous, fast, competent, knowledgable and funny I might add. I would definitely recommend others to go here
2014 Nissan Altima SV 1st Leased Vehicle
When I came to this dealership today 3/12/14 I really was only interested in test driving a new 2014 Rogue AWD & Juke AWD. I just knew that I had to put some money down to get the vehicle that I was interested in and that would not be until next year. I was approached by sales consultant Charles Lane and he changed my total outlook on what i thought I knew my outcome was. I told Mr. Charles Lane that I was not going to get my hopes up about getting a car today rather buying or leasing and expected to go home without a new car. He advised me and kept advising me that it was going to be a very positive outcome for me and I would definitely be happy. He was so very right there are not enough words to describe how overjoyed Mr. Lane, Jon Paul Handy, Whitney Harley & the Chapman Dealership has made me truly feel. I will never forget my Chapman Dealership experience and the excellent attentiveness to customer service and care is award worthy. The customer service was great. Provided me with a free oil change with purchase. Showroom very clean with large selection of vehicles in stock. Refreshments were offered. The staff was very nice. Everyone said can we help you. Always pleasant. Best of all was the price! The employee made sure I got the right car after looking at a number of cars to meet my budget.

I told myself I would not return to this dealership after my last horrible experience. I went to Chapman Nissan in search of a new vehicle since it was the closest dealership to me, however it was not my intention to purchase a vehicle from here. Immediately I was greeted by Tawny Gates and approached in a most professional and personable manner. From that point on I knew I was in good hands. Tawny not only helped me achieve the payments I could afford but she kept me informed and up to date as to whether I qualified for any additional discounts. Let me just say that from Tawny to John Paul to Carrie I experienced one of the best customer services I've ever had. They couldnt have been more pleasant and professional. John Paul even honored the one year complimentary service that was part of my last lease agreement. Kudos to him! The customer service I received was a complete 360 degrees from when I was there in 2011. Needless to say I am very satisfied with my lease of my 2014 Altima and I look forward to getting my car serviced there. Thank you for FINALLY having a good staff to work with.
