My sister in law purchased a used car here. Fast forward a month and the transmission is out, and they are offering her ZERO assistance. They had to have known this car had issue when they sold to her yet they don't even care that a single mother, in the middle of moving, now has no car. We definitely understand the risks of buying a used car but when they LIE to her and tell her its a certified used vehicle just to have it die a month later, that is bad business plain and simple. Very disappointed in the entire staff and this establishment as a whole.

Fantastic to work with. Handled most of the process virtually. Was only at the dealership for a couple of hours to finalize the transaction. Specifically worked with Dave in sales and JJ in finance. Both top-notch.

I've had good sales and service experience at Chapman BMW Chandler 2-3 years ago while they were undergoing their big remodel. I'm sad to report they've gone downhill since due to using bait and switch tactics. I understand with the covid supply chain interruptions and chip shortage, car inventories are down. I am disappointed as of March 2022, Chapman BMW Chandler opted to add an across the board $3k-5k "market adjustment" to all their car prices. I get car dealers are for profit businesses that are free to set their own asking price and the MSRP is just the factory "suggested price" but what yanks my chain is the numerous bait and switches going on. What made it feel like a bait and switch is they don't disclose the large mark up over sticker prices on their website new car inventory (their website just shows the msrp of each car) or on their truecar price quotes, where they quote an $250 or $900 discount from MSRP (depending on model) and disclose a $500 doc fee but no hint of an $5k market adjustment or other fees or mandatory accessories. You only find out about the $5k markup over sticker when you try to buy the car at their quoted truecar price and worst waste time driving in. In addition to the dealer $500 doc fee and $5k ADM, there's also an mandatory $600 dealer window tint and $900 dealer new car prep fee (Isn't that what the $995 destination charge included in the msrp is for?) which means the out the door price ends up being MSRP + $7k and then add another ~10% for tax, title, license fees. 2nd bait and switch is their website shows a ton of new BMW inventory (over 400) but it turns out the majority of the car listings (clue is they lack real photos) are on order, in production, or transit and not actually at the dealer. And many of those were special orders that's been pre-sold so they were never available. And despite being labeled as "New inventory in Chandler," many of their in stock inventory is actually located at their sister Camelback BMW dealership in North Phoenix. FYI, as of March 2022, their sister store Chapman on BMW Camelback is just charging MSRP + $499 doc fee +$185 anti-theft etching. No $3k-$5k markups there... yet.

You inquired about a car we have a waiting list for so we have more customer orders than production numbers. This isn’t uncommon in the business right now as many dealerships are doing the same thing. Cars that we have production for we will honor MSRP price but specialty cars do sometimes come with a premium. We have shared inventory with our sister store for the past 5 years and unfortunately we cannot remove cars that have been pre-ordered and allocated to customer off our website until the customer has put pen to paper for their deal. I don’t recommend to buy or service a car from them I bought a new bmw with defects paint I spoke to bmw and bmw told me to contact dealership in chandler the place I bought the car from here’s what they offer to send it to paint shop they told me it will be factory paint I said how is gonna be factory paint adding a new paint on top of the original paint won’t make it factory I bought a new car not to have paint on it I’m not sure how they do business I guess they hide all the defects on there car and they call it factory certified you people should be careful because champman bmw in chandler will tell you the car is new or certified but be careful because they will be lying to you my car missing paint the only thing Mr. Tony said I understand that won’t be good adding paint on the car but that’s what his dealership off so I paid $100k plus on a car is gonna have paint all over it the valve won’t be the same because how will buy a car cost $100k plus with paint all over it this will Depreciate the value of my car Again please be careful buying a car from them

Bought a new 330i, second purchase from Chapman.

Bought a new 330i, second purchase from Chapman. Just after 17k miles the rear breaks needed replaced. Not only did Chapman refuse to pay any of the expenses towards new breaks but BMW of North America refused to be of any help. It's easy to say a company is great when things are going well. It is only when issues arise you see a companies true colors. I would not recommend Chapman dealerships or BMW to anyone. Consumers you have been warned.

Shane, Not sure how much information I can provide. Brand new BMW, driven by my wife needed new brakes at 17k miles. The issue was already brought to the attention of your Service Manager twice, once with me and once with BMW of North America. I was turned down by both and told I had to pay for the new brakes. My wifes new Mazda 6 needed brakes at 120k miles, her new BMW in 2015 need new brakes never we sold it with over 120k miles. This was the second car we bought from Chapman, so much for loyalty.

This is my 2nd time working with Jason Penney (5th or 6th BMW). He is absolutely wonderful to work with. Detailed, kind, polite and genuine. No hassle ordering and shopping. Mr. Garcia in finance was quick, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. I always drive from Tucson, where we have a local dealership, to work with BMW Chandler.
