Recently purchased a vehicle from Carvana.
Recently purchased a vehicle from Carvana. All the documents for the purchase were completed (including the loan). I even received email and voicemail confirmation from Carvana that the purchase was done and I owned a car. Several days later, I received email from Carvana that the car had previously been purchased and I did not own it after all, due to an error on their website. They wanted me to purchase a similar vehicle, for an additional $2,000 out of my pocket. This may be breach of contract and bait-and-switch. Stay as far away from Carvana as possible!

My Carvana purchase experience was excellent.
My Carvana purchase experience was excellent. It took me 2 vehicles with 3 deliveries. I accepted the first delivery, used it for a few days and discovered a minor issue with it that caused me to have it returned. I found another vehicle of the same make and model. After the 10-minute test drive, I found a few issues with it that I was willing to work with SilverRock and have them resolved within the 7-day test-own period. On the fifth day, since the issue would never be fixed by the 7th day, I decided to return the second vehicle. I searched and waited for another vehicle of the same make and model for a while until the first vehicle became available again, then started the purchase process for this one, exactly the first one that got delivered. It still had that very minor issue from the first delivery so I decided to test it more for a few days and miles to see if there would be any other issue that may arise. I decided to keep this vehicle since no other issue showed up during the additional 7-day/400-mile test ownership.

This is my second car that I have bought through Carvana.
This is my second car that I have bought through Carvana. The first purchase was a few years ago and was seamless, which is why we purchased again. This car however had problems from the start: -I was given a delivery date when I chose to purchase the car. About 20 minutes before the car was supposed to arrive I get a call from the delivery driver that the delivery truck broke down and so it would not come today. He didn’t know when it would be rescheduled, but I didn’t get notified until the next day. -I was then told that they would not be able to deliver the car for a few weeks but didn’t have a date. Randomly, I was notified that the car was going to be delivered that day from the app. I called and chatted with 2 different Carvana Reps who confirmed that the car would be delivered that day. Later in the day another rep form where the car was being held called me and said I had to drive to pick it up or wait another week or so for it to be delivered. He said he would be able to give me gas cards because the car was supposed to be delivered and the location was far from me. So I drove to pick it up. The gas cards were going to be mailed to me. That never happened. -Within the first week I noticed the brakes squealing. I call Carvana and they directed me to file a claim through SilverRock. I start the process through SilverRock and it already seems like they are giving me the run around. I go to the shop they ask me to go to and the shop immediately wants money to do a diagnostic and a tire balance. They say they wont even call SilverRock to open the claim until it has been paid for. They also say that the diagnostic may take a few days. I only need brake pads and didn’t have time to leave the car there for a few days, so I took it to a different shop. Brake pads were extremely low and rotors almost ruined. - I reach out to Carvana and they tell me that if SilverRock doesn’t reimburse me for the brake pads to reach back out to them . So I put in a claim and get a confirmation that all documents I needed to return were received. Weeks go by and I hear nothing so I contact them. They closed the claim because Carvana gave them an inspection form stating that the brakes were good. They didn’t bother sending any notifications or anything- just closed it. - I then reach back out to Carvana and the rep now tells me that since its not within the 7 days so there’s nothing to be done. Despite the fact that I did call them in the 7 day period, and was given apparently the wrong directive. And chatted with a rep who made it sound like he was going to make things right. I was out the cost of brake pads before my first payment was even due and still haven’t received the gas cards I was told I would receive. They will tell you what you want to hear until the time limits have passed I guess.

I was sold a vehicle with a cracked windshield and a bum
I was sold a vehicle with a cracked windshield and a bum transmission and now I have to hope the warranty covers the repair

Also I had to go out my way to Philadelphia, I live in Rhode Island to even get my vehicle because the initial vehicle I was set to get the delivery was pushed back three times. So I took it upon myself to switch the vehicle and to go down to Pennsylvania which is 6 1/2 hours away from where I live to get the car all for the windshield to be cracked in the corner and now there’s transmission problems so I am not happy at all.
