Carvana illegally sold me a car they don't hold the legal
Carvana illegally sold me a car they don't hold the legal title to without my knowledge. I can't legally drive it now and they expect me to just deal with it and keep paying for it. They didn't even TELL me I my temp plates were expiring - I found out when I called on July 6 wondering about the registration that they expired THAT DAY - and was told they couldn't be renewed or extended and that the delay was because they were still in the process of "flipping the title" and were having trouble clearing the liens. They suggested I find other means of transportation for an indefinite period of time, and said they'd send me a check for $250 for my trouble. That's $164 LESS than a single car payment- which I was told, I am expected to continue making. They are unwilling to take the car back because it's outside the 7 day return window (lol) and the 100 day warranty expires in 19 days- while the car is inoperable. I am a Realtor - and bought the car to use as my primary vehicle for work. Obviously, not being able to legally use my car is a huge problem, considering that's the money to PAY for the car. Aside from that, I am in the process of treating several extremely progressive diseases and require reliable transportation to multiple medical appointments weekly. I would never have bought a car online, however at the time I was recovering from brain surgery and wasn't able to run around looking at and test driving cars. I put $5500 down on the thing to make the payments manageable so I can't even AFFORD alternate means of transportation. It's obviously illegal, and they obviously don't care. I hope they burn. They're ruining people's lives, and doing it on purpose. NOTE: If you call in about something like this and mention that you are willing to take a legal approach, they will refuse to speak to you at all going forward - they mark your file as having "gone legal" and will hang up on you. Literal, actual criminals, doing actual crime - and then telling you that you can't get out of your contract because it's illegal. Absurd.

Truly a horrible experience. The car was supposed to arrive in only a week and half, it ended up getting delayed for a whole month. No one updated me on my car. No one provided any sort of information unless I forced them to tell me. The lack of communication within your business is horrible. No one knew what was going on. No one had the ability to simply call the transportation team and find out what caused the delay. Additionally, once I found out that my car had a broken windshield, no one kept me updated on the status of completion on the broken windshield (which took 3 additional weeks by the way). I had to keep adjusting my work schedule, and my trade-in insurance due to the incompetence of your team. Once my new date came up to pick up my car, 15 minutes before the appointment I get a call saying it didn’t pass the inspection because the windshield wipers were reinstalled incorrectly when the windshield was replaced. The lack of attention to detail your team has is truly disappointing. How can you all not pay attention to make sure things are done THE FIRST TIME correctly on a vehicle that has already been delayed. This all could’ve been avoided if your team just took the extra 10 seconds to make sure the wipers worked. On the contrary, the only positive experience I have had was with the in person team at the San Antonio vending machine location. They were the only ones to provide me with some sort of updates, information, and status of the vehicle to the best of their ability. They had more information than the actual employees at “HQ”. They were genuine and friendly and they understood the situation. It only took for me to show up in person to find out what was wrong. For only being “facilitators”, they did your job better than anyone at HQ when I called the 1800 number. After getting my car it had damages when the windshield was replaced, and after all of these inconveniences, it barely has a full tank of gas. After all of these inconveniences all I could was a $240 check to make up for all of your companies discrepancies. Truly disappointing… As a member in the Armed Forces my time is very valuable and limited. It would’ve been nice for Carvana to take that into consideration and go the extra mile to make things right. In conclusion, my entire experience with Carvana has been a disappointing train wreck. You will no longer have my business and I will make it my mission to make sure no one else I know does business with you.

Quick and reliable service and what an awesome experience. There was no one overwhelming me with information and questions as soon as I reach the lot. I had already done all my research and picked out the car for me. I was able to test drive on my own and the peace of mind that within 7 days I could trade it out if I didn’t like the car was so great. I’ll never purchase a car elsewhere that’s for sure. So great!! 20 stars if I could!!! ♥️

My Ford Escape is perfect! All the photos of the car didn’t do it justice. The company did an excellent job of sharing any issues with the vehicle. The car came in beautiful shape, super clean, full tank of gas. The woman who delivered my car knew all the facts and details about my car. Gave me small tour and made sure I understood features and also my paperwork for the warranty. CARVANA is the new way to go!
