Our experiences at Bobby Rahal Honda in Mechanicsburg have been great! We recently purchased our second Honda from this dealership, and our 5th Honda since 1985. I will never drive anything other than a Honda the rest of my life if I can help it! Our service visits have been very pleasant and well done, the people in this place are very nice and helpful, and our salesman, John Roderick is awesome! We couldn't have asked for more from this place.

Had my current Honda Odyssey totaled in accident. Needed to replace it quickly. Rahal came through as expected! Love this dealership! Greg was awesome keeping on top of my deadlines throughout the process.

Greatest place ever

This dealership is literally the greatest place in the world. I'm not kidding, I look FORWARD to going here because of how wonderful the people are here. The employees break all typical rules/traditional beliefs of how terrible dealerships are. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get repairs done on their Honda. Y'all ROCK.

2016 Kia Soul

Was in the market for a used car. Test drove several and liked the fit and feel of the Kia Soul. Was not just shopping price. Condition of the used car was also important. I had looked at cars in York, Lancaster, and near Gettysburg. Most cars were not clean enough for my standards. Ones that were clean were too pricey for me. Then I noticed this 2016 Kia Soul at Bobby Rahal Honda. From the pictures, it looked brand new. What I learned after talking with my salesman (Tom Dabitch) was that cars are detailed BEFORE they are offered for sale. That was the major difference between this dealership and all others. I liked how the sales manager allowed the salesperson (Tom) the freedom to work unhindered. I didn't feel like a sheep among a pack of wolves. And rather than simply looking at a book to figure the value of my trade, they took the time to look over my car. I didn't mind the value of my trade because the car I was buying was a fair price. Actually, the car I purchased (2016 Kia Soul + with > 5,000 miles) was about the same price of a 2014 with ~ 30,000 miles. And this one was spotless. Financing was good as well. Great experience for me.

Bad Experience

I will be writing in details about my experience at this dealership. I dealt with car dealers for over 16 years never had this horrible experience before until I visited Bobby Rahal Honda in Mechanicsburg Pa, I was rushed through the whole process, the sales person juggle 2 other customers while having me wait after he rushed to get me to his desk when I first walked in. I sat there for over 2.5 hours even after I had the bank approval after 30 minutes from arrival. I run a very successful business and money was not an issue but I felt my money is not good in this place. I left with a promise to receive a phone call about the color choice didn't hear anything. I called the next day no answer. I walked in to the dealership and that sales person was not around and after they called him his respond was he can't come and he will call. I waited for the call but never heard from him and the sad part is when I called to complain to the manger about the treatment. I felt I was pushed back and he came up with the excuse that there is no cars available at this time and they don't know when they will get it. At that time I was promised a car that was supposed to be deliver in 2 week then after the complain I received an email stating that the car will not arrive. I emailed back saying I am flexible with the color but then the next excuse that there is no delivery date available, this happened in March 30th and up to today there is no words if I will get a car or not, they are saying maybe the end of May but they can't promise. So apparently if you complain about a bad treatment you will get pushed back and this is how this dealership is run. It is unfortunate that they can call this business and I was planning to stick with Honda but after this experience I am having second thoughts. I really hope no one have to experience what I experience and I hope those people will face some consequences for their action.

I had a very bad experience

Apparently if you were treated bad at Bobby Rahal Hnda and complain to the manger you will be taught a lesson. I was approved for a car and I had the delivery date within 2 weeks, but when I complained to the manager about my experience with the sales representative and how bad he treated me of sudden there is no guarantee delivery and it is almost a month now I have no car and no words if I am getting any. I contacted the manager many times and I got excuses. I'm a business women and I know what is happening. I have names and I will not let this issue go like that. No one deserve to be treated the way I was treated and not complain. If I can rate this place lower I would but the only option is poor.

Mark Shellenberger did an excellent job getting me into this great car in a few hours tops. Once I made the decision he jumped though hoops (not sure if there was fire around them) to finalize the deal and get me on my way. Great job Mark!!

Had a very good experience thus far. From the online department, to sales with travis, to finance dept. , all were thorough, professional, flexible, attentive and fair. They did everything they could to make the transaction happen and they did not pressure me into anything I didn't want. I told them what I wanted and they got it for me right away. Have not dealt with service dept. So hopefully the experience continues.
