HEAD TO CAR MAX
It took nearly 4 hours to sell a vehicle! Level of professionalism and customer service by management was severely lacking. If you value your time, head to CAR MAX, NOT HERE!
Thanks Matt, for leaving us this response. Our General Manager would like to help turn your experience around. If you're willing, please contact our GM at (623) 432-1720 to discuss what we can do to help.
Disappointed Customer
somme things i think dealer should have taken care of--should have cleared the entertainment system of previous owners songs, phones and other info . I even have old owners phone number and address,And if your familiar with Ford Pass we could not use it because previous owners was still active,So I spent hours of my time clearing this all up.And only received 1 key, and a tire was low, low light came on at test drive, sales person said it was just the heat and cold and this is common . Well it would not hold air so had to bring it in for tire repair.
Fred, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. Our General Manager would really like to help turn your experience around. If you would be willing to give us another chance, please contact our GM at (623) 432-1720 to discuss what we can do to help.
Used vehicle purchase experience
I took my daughter to AutoNation to purchase her first car. Initially, I was very pleased with the experience, no haggle on the price and sitting down to sign the papers began just as pleasant. However that soon changed after about hallf-way through signing the papers electronically, and the finance manager, Svetlana, went to go run our card for the down payment. She returned with additional papers and proceeded to pressure us into purchasing a 60,000 mile warranty on the car for $4000. We declined many times and she continues to tell us we NEED this warranty because it?s not IF, it?s WHEN is the car going to have a major breakdown. We explained a warranty that costs 1/4 of the price of the car is not something we were interested in. She got up, and returned with an offer for the warranty at $3000. We again declined and she wanted to know why. After her third time going to process the down payment but only to return with yet another offer on the warranty was infuriating. We emphatically declined and honestly were ready to walk out. She got up for the fourth time, but instead of her returning , it was her boss, with yet another offer on the warranty. Unbelievable! Basically we got the message we weren?t leaving without purchasing a warranty, so for his ?final offer? of $2000, we reluctantly agreed. This was an awful experience and very bad business practice of pressuring us with this offer in the middle of signing the papers and after she had our credit card in her hand. I knew my initial feeling of a great experience was too good to be true. Lastly, when all papers were signed and we were ready to go, I asked for the window sticker which had been removed after we sat down to sign the papers and they sent the car to be detailed. I was told the techs who washed the car threw it away. I reminded them it is part of the contract and nobody had a right to dispose of it and requested it be reprinted. They said that was impossible to do because the system shows the car as sold. I said they need to retrieve it from the trash then, because I wasn?t leaving without it and advised I would call the Attorney General and file a complaint. The salesperson said she would get it from the trash and finally gave it to us; this was 45 minutes after I initially asked for it. How shameful to treat your customers this way.
