This is the only Toyota dealership that is close to our house. So we come to this one often to get 2 of our cars serviced since they are Toyota cars and we really like the cars! However, every time I have any of my cars serviced I am waiting there for at least 2 - 6 hours minimum. Yesterday it took them 4 hours of me sitting there to even start working on my car. I am very dissatisfied with the efficiency of service at this dealership. I feel like I waste my whole day and can’t get anything else done when my car has to get serviced. They didn’t even have time to get the evaporator fixed in my van. So now I have to go back and it will probably be another 2 - 6 hours just to get that done. It’s been very frustrating over the years to always have to wait so long.

It's almost a pleasure to get my Corolla serviced at AutoNation Toyota South Austin. The wait was a short 45 minutes because when I got there there were quite a few people ahead of me. Everything was professional and courteous. The waiting room is clean, comfortable and spacious, the restroom I visited was immaculate! My service man Jerod Jones is great. Thanks for keeping my Corolla in excellent shape, and for caring! J. D.

This is my second time bringing my car here to be repaired. This was a $4500 repair to the ABS system and brakes, Tony he is a wonderful sales guy sales rep he’s awesome. But the mechanic who ever worked on my car left it filthy, grease all on the steering wheel, my driver side door, my floormat my car seat and somehow managed to knock off my control panel for my electric driver seat to reposition my seat? Tony was really good came out wiped down cleaned up my car and got that part put back on my car. I thought they took better care when they take care of cars and not leaving them so filthy I was in my nice work clothes and when I touched that steering well just was disgusting.

I had a mixed experience with AutoNation Toyota South
I had a mixed experience with AutoNation Toyota South Austin's service center yesterday. I bought my car at this dealership and have taken it in for routine service ever since. Until yesterday, I felt valued and respected. My service rep, Epi, was in the middle of doing my service intake when another gentleman in a white shirt with a Toyota logo (whose name I did not catch and who I will call White Shirt for this post), walked up and began observing our interaction. Eventually, White Shirt decided to show me how he could replicate the problem I was having. For what it's worth (obviously nothing in White Shirt's mind), I have a very good understanding of how cars work and have even helped rebuild a couple of engines in the past. Nevertheless, after Epi's very respectful interaction with me, I began to experience White Shirt's opinion: "i.e. stupid woman who won't understand a thing, so I'll just pretend to start the car without my foot on the brake to show her she doesn't know how to start a Toyota properly" (despite the fact that this is my FIFTH Toyota over past 3 decades). I kept my mouth shut, sat in the service waiting room for 5 hours and then when Epi was checking me out, I voiced my very strong objections about my treatment by White Shirt and asked him to share my comments. The repairs were done properly and that's why I went there. However, there are other places to get the same work done where I won't be treated like a "stupid, no-nothing woman." Toyota needs to do some more training with White Shirt.

ZERO STARS IF I COULD.
ZERO STARS IF I COULD. One of the most unprofessional and disappointing business experiences I’ve ever encountered. I work in the car industry so I understand most of what is going on behind the scenes, and the way I was treated by this dealer is absolutely unacceptable. 8 months ago now I bought a Certified Per Owned 2019 Tacoma from Autonation Toyota of South Austin. When I I received the vehicle, it still had a broken rear view mirror from the previous owner and was missing a spare key that I had agreed with the sales man to get made the day of the purchase. I drove home with it anyways(about 2 weeks after purchase) because I needed a vehicle. Months later, these concerns were luckily handled only to discover not weeks later that my throw out bearing had gone bad, causing a screeching sound every time I pushed the clutch. I took it to service and was told the mechanic who was working on it would be back from vacation to fix it in a couple weeks but I could drive it until then. I continued down the road until I got a pop up message that I had no oil. I immediately stopped the vehicle and had it towed back to the dealership. A few days down the road, I reached out to get an update. All I received was pictures of my vehicle torn apart. When I asked what had been found I got no reply. I had to PHYSICALLY WALK INTO the dealer to get any sort of answers. My vehicle has now been in the shop 2 months waiting on parts and Autonation or Toyota have made no effort to get me into a rental vehicle despite multiple calls, messages, and visits to not only the dealership talking to advisors and service managers, but corporate customer service as well. I am still paying monthly for a vehicle that I haven’t laid eyes on in 2 months. I’ve always been a big fan of Toyota until this absolutely unbelievable experience. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND
