All of the employees we came in contact with at Automaxx of the Carolinas was nice, friendly and helpful. Our experience there was nothing but great! Anything we asked for was not a problem. Our personal salesperson, Jose, was the absolute best ever of all of my car buying experiences. He went above and beyond in every way possible. Although our deal did not go through because of personal issues that transpired, the attitude of Jose was still the same as if I had bought the vehicle. They have an exchange/return policy. Set pricing that is fair. And a built in pretty solid warranty! Better than most.
My sales man was great to David went above and beyond to get me into a vehicle I was satisfied with. My problem is that after getting the vehicle and driving it for only one evening and started it over heating and was pouring radiator fluid all over my driveway. The engine air filter was so bad it seemed as if it had never been changed dirt and dust showered out of it even after Flo. I had my vehicle towed into them on Thursday. I was informed that they would have the parts needed friday and it would be done on friday. The next day I called them again and been told that my vehicle would have been done Friday if the parts come in like they're supposed to if not the next day it is now Sunday and I have no ot heard a word about my vehicle. I have been without a vehicle for that long. When I called to speak with them the first time was because I needed to know if I needed to get a rental but I was told it would be done in a day so I didn't proceed with a rental. I had ok not had the car for less than half a week or so the radiator had so much stop leak in it when I opened it it looked like a jar of peanut butter I have pictures of this as well. There is a vibration and a rattling or buzzing noise in the streaming column that's been getting worsen and worse. The transmission sometimes shifts very violently or will continue in the same gear over revving untill finally it shifts. I wrote all this on my service agreement paperwork that was sitting right in the center console the vehicle when it was dropped off and I also told the first person I spoke with about the vehicle getting serviced on Thursday that told me it would be done in the next day all of these things as well. That person told me that an inspection was never done on the vehicle because they had just gotten it the day that I bought it and that they would be doing an inspection on it but afterwards they told me that the only thing that was wrong with it was again the water pump leaking radiator fluid still without a vehicle and have not heard anything from them. I traded in a perfectly good well-running maintained vehicle that was also very near and dear to my heart. I am very concerned about the previous owners regular upkeep or maintenance to this vehicle. I'm also very concerned about when I will get my vehicle back because I need to have a ride and I can't even get a hold of anyone because they're closed and I'm not hurt anything from them. Again I would like to mention that my salesman David did an outstanding outstanding job. Is what I was looking for and still is what I wanted but I am worried about underlying issues that I didn't have to worry about with the vehicle that I turned in for a trade.

Mike was super friendly and very patient helping me decide on a truck. It was nice to walk thru the line of trucks and no high pressure or attitude. Doug was efficient and friendly also. Excited for it to be delivered in a few days, also a plus so I don't need to take time off work to drive back up there. Nice folks.

This dealer is the worst dealer I have ever dealt with in my life I recommend that nobody buys from automax South Carolina Summerville because I purchased a truck that they told me everything worked and there was nothing wrong with the vehicle I take it home it had a huge water leak that flooded my floor board on my vehicle they sold me a touchscreen that doesn't work the key fob doesn't work the doors won't lock and unlock lock And I think that's from the water damage And the tire pressure sensors and they said that they would not Cover any of it Even though I have the warranty from the dealer and they wouldn't even send me the warranty that they said it would not cover so make sure if you go to this place to really inspect the vehicle before you buy because they won't help you to replace anything in the vehicles After the vehicle is sold I understand if it's 6 months down the road and I had these issues I understand not to cover but I only had the truck for a week and they would not help me fix any of it they only fixed the water leak And when they put the panels in the interior back together The panels are sticking out because they weren't put back properly
