I visited this dealership on March 7th. I had been speaking with Natasha via email all day about 1 specific 2022 Hyundai Tucson I was interested in. I set an appointment to come in that day to see the vehicle. I filled out a finance application prior to arrival and was told it was good to go. I come in and was assigned Kaz as my sales associate. Kaz then informs me the vehicle just sold prior to me arriving. Had I known that I would have had driven 45 minutes to get there. I was then shown some other vehicles but needed to make some numbers work on it. We discussed everything and I decided to think on it since I wasn’t getting what I originally came in for. I had spoke with Kaz at least 3 other times that week and he assured me my approval was good I just needed to decide what I wanted to do. I came back in on Marich 12th to make a purchase. I picked out the vehicle I wanted and we went inside. Kaz could not find any of my paperwork from when I was there before. He handed me a credit application and I said I dont need to fill this out, my credit was already ran and approved on my prior visit. He said oh we had to shred that paper, this is just for document purposes. So I filled it out and he took another copy of my drivers license. He came back about 15 minutes later and while I was sitting there I started getting notifications my credit was being ran. I was furious, he then said we can make a deal work you need a co-signer. I said this was not where we left things on Monday and not what we had discussed everytime I talked to you until today. I then asked why my credit was ran multiple times again without my consent. He said you signed the paper. I said you told me that was just for documentation purposes to have on file and all my information was still in the system. He flat out lied to my face and said he never said that all while my husband was sitting next to me. I have tried multiple times contacting the dealership with no response. This was highly unprofessional and there was no need to run my credit a second time since I already had an approval. Needless to say I left and went else where and bought exactly what I wanted. So good job Automax, you lost a sale and I will never step foot in any of your stores again.
