Thank you Auto Empire LLC
I recently purchased a 2002 Mazda Tribute LX. This SUV was priced fairly and for the moment in real good condition. It was a pleasure to deal with Eddie in making this purchase. He was professional and courteous. Timely and prompt communication. Additionally, he was very helpful in setting up a trade in. Thank you also to the rest of the crew at Auto Empire LLC who were also on point. My overall experience was positive. I would definately recommend this dealer to family and friends.
If you see a car you like, this is the place to go
I had not owned a car in more than a decade, and furthermore had never purchased from a dealer in my life. Eddie and Tiffany got me squared away with a nice super low mileage 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis that is in tip-top running and driving condition. I was most impressed that they didn't try to sell me an extended warranty; in fact it wasn't even mentioned until I brought it up! (I got one of my own accord anyhow). Yes, you will pay a little more than 'street' value but you WILL get a good solid car from these guys and that little bit of extra dough will be worth the level of service and peace of mind. Hopefully these guys will still be in business in another decade when I'm ready for my next set of wheels!
This dealership is absolutely disgusting we put a down payment on a car over the weekend and as soon as we drove a couple of blocks within 5 minutes of driving the car started shutting down. We called the dealership immediately and told them to pick up the vehicle because it started breaking down the dealership came to pick it up, we paid a total of $500 deposit on the car and we also paid for gas and tolls they refused to pay us back for the inconvenience. THIS IS WHY YOU TEST DRIVE. To ensure the vehicle can drive properly and is a good car, but somehow us driving for FIVE MINUTES made us responsible? We demanded a refund and they refused. This is absolutely horrible practice and DAVE AND JOHNNY are TERRIBLE salespeople. We did our end and got delivered a broken down car. DO NOT trust these people they sell unworthy and DAMAGED VEHICLES and do not refund their customers. If this was handled appropriately I wouldn’t have to make an unpleasing review, but I believe the public should be aware of their community and local businesses. This company is horrible DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP if you’re in the market for the ford 150 do not purchase the vehicle is salvaged.
You were never at our establishment. The place you visited was Genesis Tires And Auto Center out of New Jerser. You left two identical, word for word reviews for us and them. Why would you do that?! They did reply to your review on Google.

Alex and his partner were nothing g but courteous and professional when I walk in to buy a car. I didn't have a lot of money they were very honest and open with me as to which car was best for my price range .The mechanics know their trade!! The shop is also run in an efficient manor, secretary was so sweet! My family and I highly recommend Auto Empire.
2010 mercury Mountaineer
I recently purchased a 2010 Mercury Mountaineer AWD. It was a pleasure to deal with Alex in making this purchase. He was professional and courteous. The pictures were great, gave me a clear idea of the condition of the SUV, Alex also with his phone showed me live view of the SUV. The CarFax had good detailed information. Alex also arranged delivery of the SUV to NH. The delivery was timely (3 days). Felt very comfortable doing business with Alex, and would recommend the dealership to anyone who is looking to buy a vehicle.
I went there to look at a specific car. I liked that the ad said all fees were included in the advertised price and noticed the positive reviews. I called about 2 days ahead to make an appointment and also called about 2 hours before I arrived to confirm. So they knew I was coming and which car I was going to go see. When I arrived for the test drive, the car was filthy inside and had a couple of things hanging out of place. All fixable so not a huge deal, just not a good first impression so I proceeded with the test drive. Then it turns out that not all fees are included; they charge a standard $412 documentation/DMV fee on all vehicles. I was expecting to pay taxes but nothing more since the ad stated “all fees included”. I made an offer for a lower price and Ed or Eddie said something along the lines of “you’re not my sister. Being family is the only way I can justify losing money on this car. But I guess we can still be friends” so no deal. I don’t know about cars or buying or haggling so I don’t know if my offer was offensively low (the total was $6,600 and I offered $5,000). But if my offer was too low, he could’ve made a counter offer or said something like “listen, I can’t sell it for that low because I’ll lose money on it. The lowest I can go is $xxxx”. But he chose to be patronizing instead. He tried to sell me on another car but I couldn’t shake his comment and decided I didn’t want to give them my business. So I didn’t buy anything and I left. Overall it wasn’t the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had but I had higher expectations given all the positive reviews.
Sold me a car that immediately needed service
I purchased a used Volvo from Auto Empire just two months ago. I drove it no more than 5 times before having an issue with the power steering fluid. It leaked out almost immediately. I took the care in to get serviced at a local mechanic and they identified that the power steering rack was broken and in need of service. They also informed me that someone had previously tried to fix it and had not done a sufficient job. They also identified that brake fluid needed to be flushed and that the engine coolant reservoir was filled with water—not coolant. These were all things that should have been identified when this dealer "inspected" the car before I purchased it. These repairs will cost me a considerable amount of money and I feel completely deceived by Auto Empire. I would not recommend buying a car from here.
Worst experience searching for a car ever
Horrendous experience. Dealt with Alex, who's apparently the co-owner. I currently live in New Jersey and he was aware of this. We spoke on the phone, negotiated the numbers, and headed out there. Mind you, we initially spoke early afternoon yesterday (Monday) and I inform him if the car is in the condition it appears in the photos and drives well (which he claims it did) that I will be coming only to pick it up the next day (today.) Quick note - I told him I'm in Central NJ and that I would be taking the train out there (A LONG TRIP) and left at 8 AM this morning to get back just now (6PM). Yes, I did throw in a small errand ONLY BECAUSE I WAS GOING TO BE OUT THERE ANYWAY but with the Covid 19 situation, I was reluctant but headed out regardless. He contacts me while I'm on the train in the morning (already in NY) to inform me that he just found out there was damage done to the vehicle recently. I asked for pictures to see if it was worth my while to even come out there or turn back He kept urging me that it would be worth my while to come out and check it out. After he finally agreed that he would have the scratches (deep scratches across the hood, front bumper, door handles, passenger and rear passenger side door) and have the vehicle delivered to NJ within a week if I were to purchase it, he agreed to go check it out. It took an hour just from where I was in Queens at the time to get there via train. I get there to see the interior didn't look as it did in the photo either. The rear view mirror was smashed and wires were dangling with the actually mirror on the passenger seat. When I bring that up to Alex, he arrogantly states that it is what it is and that I can either take it or leave it. So I spent how many hours traveling out here and he tries to pull the old bait and switch with his con artist conniving ways. The lack of remorse was baffling. Even his mechanic and partner was saying how it wasn't right. They claimed they would try to make it right and showed me some other cars (all which had high mileage or interiors were in bad condition). The only reason I agreed to come out was because Alex and I discussed how pristine of condition the Explorer was. No mentions of a smashed rearview --- no mentions of the severe scratch damage all along the car (not in the photos in the ad) UNTIL I'M IN NEW YORK!!!! Alex claims he just found out in the morning but the mechanic that took me on a test drive informed me that the incident happened 2 weeks ago, even agreeing with me that I should have been informed. What car dealership owner doesn't know the status of the inventory and which vehicles have been severely damaged. It's a small lot. Most dealership owners know the cars like the back of their hands (ESPECIALLY IF THERE'S A PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE.) I call BS! I've worked at a dealership before and if a potential customer says someone is coming to purchase a vehicle the next day (I even had my insurance ready) they typically prep the vehicle the day before so all of this should have been noticed. Car wasn't detailed, gas tank wasn't full (and he said it wouldn't be at purchase), and just the deception and lies left me absolutely disgusted. I left there with a bitter taste in my mouth. Wouldn't EVER recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent vehicle. Mind you, I didn't have the largest budget but as an experienced salesman, I know one of the main things you're supposed to do is set correct expectations --- not mislead and lie. So there goes $60 I spent on a worthless commute to NY because I was deceived by a unprofessional dealership owner. THE LEAST they could have done was covered that. The partner owner tried to apologize (he was a bit more professional) and so did the mechanic but a sorry doesn't change the fact that my entire day went to rest and the money I wasted on this ridiculous trip Alex had me make. Save yourself the stress and find another dealership. HORRIBLE! I just can't say it enough.
Dear Ab Normal, You wrote a fictional story. Here are the facts. The vehicle you were interested in is a 2002 Ford Explorer priced at $3997 being sold As-Is. We spoke Monday late afternoon and agreed on the price of $3800. You requested that we check if the vehicle was smoked in as you said that you are allergic to smoke. We were very busy and I told you that I would find out Tuesday morning and get back to you. Tuesday morning upon inspection of the vehicle I learned that the vehicle was involved in an incident during the time we were closed for Covid-19 regulations (a canopy fell on top of it due to strong wind) and was scratched on the 2 doors and the hood. I called you at 9:45 am (before we opened) as promised. I apologized and informed you of the damage to the vehicle. You told me that you were on the train going to Queens to do some personal errands and not on your way to us. The phone call to you was to warn you of the damage so that you would NOT have to come. I never urged you to come! If anything, I urged you Not come. IF I WANTED TO TRICK OR MISLEAD YOU I WOULDN'T HAVE CALLED YOU AT ALL! You requested pictures of the damage and I sent them to you. After you saw the pictures of the damage, you called me. You were talking way too fast trying to negotiate new terms for the purchase of the vehicle. I told you that if you are still interested, you are more than welcome to come by, see it, and we could then discuss the possible new terms. I also stated that if you didn't come the vehicle will be taken off the market and fixed. The End! You made a decision to come and showed up at around 3:00 pm. There were over 40 pictures of the vehicle posted with the Carfax Report. The rear view mirror was off as shown on pictures and not smashed. The interior looks the way it is on pictures and the way an 18 year old interior looks like. I never told you that this 18 year old, $3800 vehicle was in pristine condition. I said that the vehicle runs great and it does. No one was apologizing to you! It was your decision to come! We tried to accommodate you best we could by showing you other vehicles, but they were all over your price range. We didn't have any $3000 vehicles in pristine condition. You thought that you can turn this situation into a freebie. You started talking way too fast again and wanted the vehicle practically free, delivered to New Jersey with a full tank of gas. My partner saw your game and politely said NO. We have people coming, calling, texting and emailing us all day long. WHILE WE ARE NOT ABLE TO CLOSE A DEAL EVERY TIME, WE DO TREAT ALL OUR CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT, PROFESSIONALISM AND NO PRESSURE EVERY TIME! Auto Empire
