Jean Marc was so helpful and so patient with my dad and me during the car buying process. He was honest and very transparent throughout it all. We happened upon Audi just to browse one day and after some figuring logistics out, we decided to sell my dad’s current car elsewhere and come back the next day to buy the Audi. Through his guidance, I do believe we got the best deal (selling elsewhere vs trading in) and he kept his cool demeanor with all my dad’s concerns and questions. He made the car buying process calming (if that’s even possible) and easy, so I’d definitely recommend Jean Marc to others. I’ve bought a number of cars from other dealerships but this place just has a different vibe. In fact, I’d buy a car from this location again thanks to him.

I could not be more impressed by the superior services I received at Audi of Rockville this weekend. Starting with the Finance Manager Neil Xing, Mike Zheng the general sales manager, the gentleman who kindly washed, filled up the gas, and brought my car (regrettably I didn't get his name), and finally Larry Sevrin the General Manager. Each and every one of these gentlemen went out of their way to ensure an extraordinary experience for me and my two kids. By way of background, I purchased a vehicle from a dealership in Atlanta that happened to be owned by the parent company of Audi of Rockville. The dealership in Atlanta suggested shipping the car to Audi of Rockville for me to take delivery. Keep in mind that Audi of Rockville does not earn a penny from this transaction and gains no financial benefits from helping us out yet, they all went out of their way to facilitate a seamless and memorable experience for us. I am very grateful for all that you did. Congrats Larry, for leading such an amazing team.

BEWARE OF FINANCE REP!
BEWARE OF FINANCE REP! With the current shortage of new vehicles, I was fortunate to find the car I really wanted at Audi Rockville so close to my home. Our Sales consultant (Joe Nowlin) was fantastic. He was very patient with me, let us take the car out for an extended test drive and even offered refreshments as it was taking me a while to decide. Once I decided, he explained all vehicle features, and even took me to the service department to get me familiar with the intake process. However, the nightmare began when I met with the Finance Rep (FR). First, I was purchasing an expensive vehicle and put down a substantial cash down payment. When I gave the FR the cashier?s check, he asked me if I used a loan to obtain the check. I was shocked! No, I did not get a loan and by the way that is none of your business. The check is a cashier?s check from my bank, made out to Audi Rockville, with the VIN in the memo line from the car I was purchasing. Couldn't be much easier than that. Second, this FR called my bank (USAA), not to verify whether the check was valid, but to verify the amount of money I had in my accounts to cover the check. What?! I don?t need to cover a cashier?s check as the money has already been drawn to cover the check. When I got on the phone with the USAA Rep, she specifically told me that the dealership (FR) was asking details about where the money was drawn and not specifically whether the cashier?s check was a valid check. I told the USAA Rep they were not authorized to obtain any information about my accounts, and to only tell them whether or not the check was valid. I have never felt so insulted. It was clear that this FR had made a pre-judgement of me based on my outward appearance, which was insulting to say the least. After this incident with the cashier?s check was resolved, I provided the FR a draft check from NFCU to cover the remaining balance of the vehicle. He then asked, where is the paperwork that came with this draft check. What?! There is no paperwork. He said he needed to see the terms of NFCU financing. I told him, to simply follow the instructions on the draft check. He tried once again. I said there is no paperwork! He then called NFCU (as the instructions state on the draft check) and NFCU provided him the authorization code for the check and that was it. After all this, the FR had the audacity to attempt to push briefing me on the extended warranties. I plainly and flatly stated I am not interested, so I don?t want to hear any of that. This FR then said it was mandatory for him to explain the warranty options to me, again what?! How can you make an optional warranty briefing mandatory for me?! In any case, I stated again, I AM NOT INTERESTED. Oh my goodness, he asked if I could explain to him why I was so adamant against him explaining the extended warranties to me, and I just took out my phone and started surfing. I had a cashier?s check for my down payment, secured my own financing through NFCU prior to going to the dealership, and this FR still kept me in his office over an hour TRYING TO PUSH WARRANTIES! If not for Joe Nowlin, and Sales Manager and General Manager all coming to speak with me about this situation and reassuring me that this FR?s attitude was not indicative of the values at Audi Rockville, I would not have purchased this vehicle. I will mentioned that the entire process (prior to dealing with the FR) was VERY smooth. Joe?s respect and communication is top notch. I even asked him if he was prior military. He?s a pleasure to work with and even helped secure me a True Car discount! The Sales Manager and General Manager were also very nice, respectful, and professional in the way they handled my LOUD disagreement with the obviously pre-judgement tactics of the FR. Yet, the FR was a disaster and far-outside of my experience with the rest of the people at Audi Rockville. Overall I would purchase another vehicle from Audi Rockville with Joe.
