Positive Environment, Friendly Staff
My wife and I set out to purchase a compact SUV, and had shopped almost all of the reputable brands. We went to Auburn Volkwagen interested in the Tiguan. Our sales associate, Jake, was knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to make sure we were getting the features we wanted. He was also passionate about Volkwagen as a brand and service provider. During the process, we were approached by Jake's manager, who was also friendly and courteous. I have purchased several cars in the past, from dealers and liquidation sales alike. The atmosphere at Auburn Volkwagen was quite different than the high-pressure atmosphere of other businesses I've dealt with.
Not Your Traditional Dealership
When you walk into Auburn VW it feels alive with energy! Everyone is friendly, salespeople are knowledgeable and passionate about their brand (which is proven cause they all drive VW's). Not a high pressure dealership, feels more upbeat than any dealership I've worked with. Would highly recommend purchasing your next vehicle at Auburn VW. The service department is as friendly as the sales floor. The service writers are smart VW advocates who exercise great patience in finding the cure for your ailing car. Their prices are beyond fair, not many surprises come about when the vehicle is being fixed. They're upfront on recommended service to keep your car running it's best. My vehicle has always come back clean and in great working order! I send all my family and friends to Auburn VW's service department. The waiting area is clean and they had the World Cup playing, big points there! Give Auburn VW a try, you won't be disappointed!
Best sales experience ever!
Easiest process of purchasing a car that I've ever encounter. Almost the entire process was done online via emails. No hidden tricks, no pressure. I did my homework on both purchase price and trade in value. I told Rickey what I was looking for and for how much I was willing to pay and he found the vehicle for me that day. Within hours I was driving home in my new vehicle...and for hundred less than I had anticipated! I won't ever buy from anyone else!
Another Phenomenal Car Buying Experience!
In my experience, going through the car shopping and purchasing process has not been an easy and enjoyable one (especially as a female doing it alone!). However, I have to say the phenomenal Team at Auburn Volkswagen has truly blown my past perceptions out of the water and altered my viewpoint! I have worked with Jack Dorn over the past three years and purchased two WV Jetta's from him! Jack made the experience once dreaded an easy and flawless one that I actually looked forward to again three years later after my initial purchase. Jack not only remember who I was three years later, but was honest with me from the start regarding my vehicle and financial options. He literally ensured my best option became a reality. The customer service provided by Jack and Team is unparalleled and in my opinion, the best in the business and area. I will continue to work with Jack and the Auburn VW Team for many years to come. Thank you Jack and Team for not only making my experience, but also getting me into two amazing vehicles that I love!
Rickey is awesome!
Rickey Peterson is so easy to work with. He answered all my questions and we had a lot of fun. I highly recommend Auburn Volkswagen. I thought it would be a lot more stressful in buying a new car.
My First New Car- 2014 Jetta TDI MK6
Since this was my first "real life" purchase (I just graduated from UW), I was very picky as to what kind of car/options to get, but my price was firm. Ricky at Auburn VW made it incredibly simple on me and got me the best price possible! If you're looking for your 1st car or your 10th, I highly recommend calling up Ricky and he'll have you in a new car in no time and both you and your wallet will thank him!
Impeccable service, wouldn't buy anywhere else!
Best car buying experience EVER! Rickey Peterson and the finance team made it super easy to buy, they saved me thousands, and played no games. Rickey and Auburn VW will always get my business. Highly recommended.
one of the best in the Northwest.
was one of the best experience in buying a vehicle from a dealer I ever had. Looking forward to working with Ricky and them again.
The crew at Auburn VW are fantastic and treat you like family. They truly care about getting you into the right vehicle and taking care of it. The service department is great as well at getting out of warranty items covered after expiration of the warranty. The employees all seem to love working there and stay year after year.
First of all, I fully agree with the other reviews that...
First of all, I fully agree with the other reviews that the experience to buy a new car at the VW Auburn is absolutely great. The big con is actually the service process, customer service team, the profile of service engineers and managers and the culture and mentality of this company. Here some details: I bought a VW Jetta in 2013 and was very happy for the first weeks. As mentioned before, the experience to buy a car there was great. After couple weeks I had noises in the car from a plastic part behind the cockpit. I called VW Auburn service and got prompt an appointment. After I received the car back (two days waiting time) I drove the car couple miles and recognized the same noise. I called again the service person Rod and explained that it seems the issue is still there. I scheduled a second appointment and this time a service engineer drove with me couple miles on the highway and confirmed the noise. Same again, I left the car there, two days later I toke the car back and surprise the same noise was happening immediately after I restarted the engine. This time I wasn't very happy and explained the service staff that the way from Issaquah to Auburn is quite far, so I would appreciate if we can fix that finally. What happened after was that I had anyway the first service appointment (first check up new car) after a month so the service manager promised that it would be fixed next time. Three weeks later I drove the car to VW Auburn and let the car there for two or three days. I received a call and the responsible service engineer mentioned that they had an accident with my car because another service engineer drove into my car and "don't worry" - we will just order two new doors and we fix that. Well, at this time I was very unhappy and contacted my lawyer. Unfortunately I received the information that if the VW dealer is able to fix the doors on their cost and the car is "like" new I would have a hard play to claim something from VW. After a waiting time of 3 weeks! I received the call and "Rod" the service engineer explained in a very unfriendly and unprofessional way that it is kind of difficult to get exactly the right door for the VW Jetta 2012 SE. I was very surprised as I would think this is a standard process and the doors should be very easy to order, paint and put back on the car. It toke in all another 2 to 3 weeks before I got the car back. On the day when I received the car back I had to argue with the service team that I would not pay the rental car that the company organized because it is not my failing that the team needed up to 6 weeks to repair their accident on my car. Almost 1.5 years later (2013) I received a letter that the company would offer me to purchase the car back and to offer a good deal for a new car. After some thoughts I felt that it would be maybe a risk to deal with VW Auburn again but I honestly thought they wouldn't mess it up a second time. I was very interested in the VW Jetta 2013 GLI plus some extras like a protective cover (folia) for the front of the car (value of 900 USD!). Here my experience: to purchase the car was again an exceptional great experience but troubles started when I went to VW Auburn to get my new car: 1. The protective cover wasn't put nicely on the car. The service team washed the car and water was collected under the protective folia. 2. The car wasn't clean - not vacuumed. I called the sales manager because it was close to 6 pm and the service team wasn't available anymore. The sales manager apologized and told me that it is absolutely no problem if I come back and the team will take care of the situation. Well, another time driving to VW Auburn. Couple days later I made the way to Auburn and unfortunately arrived a bit late. The appointment to take the rental car and to give my car to the service person was 5 pm. Unfortunately I arrived at 5.30 but had no waiting time to talk to the person behind the desk. Here the very unfriendly circumstance: The person just said "no, sorry, you are late and we will reschedule the appointment". I explained quite frustrated that I stuck in rush hour and that I only would like to get the rental car and leave my car here. The person was very unfriendly to me and just said: "No, I need more than 15 to 20 minutes for the paper work and I have dinner plans". After I heard that I was very frustrated and explained that I will escalate the situation to the management. After I communicated this I receive the rental car and left VW Auburn. Two days later I received my car back. The protective folia was on the car, everything was fine BUT! the very expensive sport rim was slightly damaged. I called the manager and explained that I think this happened because the service team seems to "do" this with purpose. The sales manager explained that he will talk to the team at the service and I will receive a repaired rim. next appointment is in 2 days and I only hope VW Auburn doesn't mess it up again.
