I shouldn't write reviews at 4 AM....in my post about my experience I wrote about the value the Credit Union placed onnthe vehicle I purchased. It was valued TWICE the purchase price. Sorry for any confusion.

Sam was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. I told him the cars I wanted to see and he then just let me wander the lot and take my time looking at them. Absolutely no pressure. It was such a different experience from buying at a regular dealer. The quality of work on the car was excellent, looks and runs perfect. I would definitely return.

We went in to look at a car that was already sold. We drove 4 cars and Sam never pressured us. We left and went to a big dealership. We went back, looked at another car a bought it.

Before buying here, I was worried about the integrity and how it would work out. I was very pleasantly surprised. So many places sell used cars "as-is". He gave us a short warranty, but enough that we had some time to see if it had any problems. There were a few very minor items, but the owner showed great integrity backing the warranty.

I saw their ad on Cars.com and thought "Insane deal", found out it was salvaged. Makes sense. Put me off at first but I figured I could have my trusted mechanic check it out etc. I called to ask about the vehicle because if I'm going to buy a salvaged car I want to know everything. I asked: - about how it was damaged. - Collision in the front. - if they have a hybrid specific mechanic doing repairs (Interested in getting a Prius). - No they don't. - about what kind of warranties they do. - 5 year/100k mile 3rd party warranty for around $1,300. Wouldn't tell me through who, which after doing research on 3rd party warranties seems very shady. - if they could get me a Carfax just so I could see the records of the damage and service before it, etc. After all these questions about the legitimacy of the car and buying process, I was promised by Sam that he would get me the information I wanted but that completely fell through. I asked if he needed my email to send scans/copies of the information but he said he would just call be back (which I want to see what is WRITTEN instead of what would be left out in verbal communication). Overall, from my experience and the experience I have read from all the other reviews that are not the cookie-cutter 5 star, it seems that if you really try to dig about the process that these cars undergo as well as try and do your due diligence in researching the car and contracts, they just ignore you as you probably would catch them on something and realize that the deal IS too good to be true.

We are extremely pleased with our purchase from Sam. In fact if you want more for your money along with a warranty better than the factory then go see American Auto. Sam picked us up from the airport, very minimal time at the dealer and 9hr drive back to Fresno in our new Challenger 392 T/A with no issues. This was definitely worth the flight. They had what I wanted at a nice discounted price, and they were easy to deal with. My 2012 SRX Caddy. still runs well and looks great.

Sam is Great! we bought a car from his last year and when our old family car our son was driving broke down, he came to the rescue. We called him up and had limited cash from what our son had saved and he worked with us and made it happen. He went above and beyond the call of duty and we appreciate it. We will be back again for our next vehicle purchase for ourselves and family members!!! Thank you Sam!

I asked this dealer specific questions regarding an advertised vehicle, what specific damaged occurred, what repairs were performed. Dealer never answered my query, I'll go elsewhere.
