Check the Dealer Fees - Outrageous
Think 4 times before you patronage this dealership. Check the dealer fees - they are 3x more than most every dealership in the area. Over $2,000 in various fees - all it is is just extra profit to the dealer and the sales person. Go elsewhere!!
I bought a car with Ambar Motors in 2020. Because of my credit, I was told that I would pay 408.00 for six months, and then it will go down to 380.00. When time passed, I called the bank and they told me that it is simply not true. A week ago, I contacted them to see if they had something I could get for less monthly payment. They told me they had a 2018 Cadillac. I would be paying 370.00 to 447.00 a month, but that would depend on the credit.I explained to the lady that I had a car and that I was offered 19,700, leaving me with around 3000.00 as a down payment. She said no problem, but I needed to go in the dealership to work the numbers. She even stated that I may get a better offer. I went there as scheduled. Salesperson asked me how much I owed on the trade in 3-4 times. We test drove the Cadillac. Screen did not work. Went back to the office. Again, I received two offers from two different dealers, one for 19,700, another for 18,200.00. Ambar offered me 14,000.00. I owe 16,500.00. I would be upside down big time. And of course, they asked me for cash down payment. The are liars. All they want is to get you in the office so they can sell you a car. I will try and avoid this dealership unless you want to be ripped off,
HORRIBLE AND LYING DEALERSHIP, WASTE OF TIME
I inquired about a 2010 Ford F-150 king ranch the website said $16,999 car gurus said $17,999, I spoke with laura about the pricing and the manager Antwan confirming to me that the price was indeed $17,999. Laura always told me they include warranties with all vehicles purchased for the longevity of ownership that covers engine, transmission, and suspension (pics below) I wanted to confirm this because I live 3 hours away. I drove there and looked at the vehicle, it was smoked in, not detailed, washed or serviced. The salesman hernando tried to tell me it was serviced with atleast an oil change and brakes. I popped the hood and the oil filter was dirty, that was a lie. We sat down to go over numbers and they tried to include a $1,999 “pre delivery” hernando first telling me the truck was suppose to be listed at $21,999. So that was them making up the difference, then he back peddled and said it was for maintenance transportation, inspection etc. (even though the truck was never serviced or anything) even spoke with a sales manager and he told me I had to have the truck serviced there for $2,000 and that even if I left with it then and there I’d have to bring it back. WORST experience I’ve ever had with a dealership, extremely unprofessional.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service and tried to sell me a car at $1000 over their own asking price. Lying and misleading behavior is what you should expect.
The guy that worked there, Anwar, was very unprofessional. I would never use him. He talked down to us the whole time. I will not use this place to buy a car based on the actions of their employee.
Muy mal trabajo de todos, desde los financieros y
Son unos estafadores y mentirosos, muy mala experiencia, jamás los recomiendo a nadie, la garantía es una farsa ,se lavan las manos apenas das el dinero
Buying a car became a disappointment there.
I just went out of Ambar Motors Doral I spent in there around d 2 hours during the process of the approval, finally the sales men came to me,he said" I got a deal for you, great I said, yes ,he said but is w the 50 percent of the price of the car as a down payment, What,it is ridiculous that people do that on customers, we all know that down payment is a kind of money dealer used to solve themselves while the bank clears the deal to them,I consider abusive that kind of treatment on people, using almost the half of the total money request in the deal to cover themselves. It is sad this city gets to this .
For any potential customers of Ambar Motors in Doral, Florida. I first discovered the vehicle I was interested in online through cars.com. I was contacted by the online sales department (Beatriz Jimenez) and we went over details of the vehicle, condition, mileage, and Carfax concerns. I was assured on how nice this car was and that there were no known issues to the dealership. This was a pleasant experience, after speaking with Beatriz some more I was then contacted by the finance manger (Phillip Lopez) to discuss pricing and overall condition of the vehicle. Negating was done via text with Mr. Lopez, the dealership was firm on its listed price, which wasn’t unfair for the vehicle in the described condition. Unfortunately, the dealership has, as mentioned before in reviews, some rather large fees associated with buying from them. A $999 dealer fee, $499 electronic filing fee, and a $377 tag fee. For a total of $1500 in fees added to the before tax price of the vehicle, a car listed at $30,999 just became a $34,873 car. Dealer fees are common practice but not in amount like this. Since I was 500 miles away from the dealership I needed to set the price in stone before ever seeing the car in person. I was confident that the car described would be as it was advertised for something in this price range. I came to an agreement in the price and flew down to see the car the next day, arrived at the dealership with a known timeframe for them to work over the car I believe. Car was not in the same storage position it was pictured in over the course of dealing with Ambar. Car was very dirty, engine bay was extremely dirty, small little defects were found throughout the vehicle, i.e., Missing fasteners, lids, and dents and scratches. Tires did not look great but tread depth in center was acceptable for the purpose of driving it home. So, the deal was pretty much already set up, couldn’t negotiate the price anymore due to agreements made via text. I discovered the broken passenger seat, which they seem to not know of. Phil agreed the dealership would pay to have the seat fixed after the sale. That seemed fair to me and we proceeded with the purchase. In the week that follows the sale large issues became more apparent, a quoted $4000. Fuel leak was discovered, and tires showing the steel belting on the insides on the front of vehicle. Pictures attached. The dealership paid for the seat repair as promised but completely ignored all other found issues. Leaving me to pay over $6500 on my “nice, fairly priced” car. Very fortunate no one was hurt from these discovered issues; dealership was aware of the tires easily due to them claiming they put new brakes on the vehicle. They considered changing the brake pads out, new brakes. Rotors were not resurfaced or replaced at all. All in all, I would caution anyone from visiting this dealership due to the undisclosed issues that could potentially cause massive damages to others health and your own.
