Price rises/bad listing/bad communication

Called and set up a appointment to see and buy a vehicle listed for a good, but not a to good to be true price for a vehicle with close to 200k miles. I Drive 2 hours to find the vehicle buried 6 cars deep behind the Shop, I get no test drive as the vehicle was not in a drivable condition. Now the same vehicle is listed for $2000 more. Very disappointing experience.

Brian. Yes, we have a lot of inventory and the car was behind 6 or even 8 cars. As we discussed, the hood latch broke on the car and we ordered a new one! As you know, it is a BMW X5 and also I showed that to you a tracking number of the part. We also started the car and you agreed that it sounds amazing. We also had an agreement that when we will receive a part, we will install it and we will be happy to do the deal with you. I intentionally did a price higher, so nobody would call/bother me since we had a verbal agreement that you will be purchasing a vehicle! What a backstabber. You must be proud of yourself and your discussing, childlike behavior. I feel bad for those ladies that came with you, probably your mother or your close relatives. They were very nice at least. Oh well.

If you are going here for a car. Know what you are looking for. They are not going to HELP you buy the car. If you don’t know what to look for. You are in trouble. If you know cars, you can find a deal. The truck we looked at was a rust bucket! But they hid it very well. Four wheel drive had linkage issues. But if you don’t know what to look for… Best advice… BUYER BE AWARE…

To start with, I paid the $19.95 for the car fax, only to find out that the vin number listed was not for the vehicle I was looking at! When I got the right vin number well you guessed it, another $19.95! The pictures that were on the internet looked at least five years newer than the actual vehicle. I’m from WV and drove 4hours to see a dilapidated vehicle. The Volvo XC90 I was looking at online looked 100Xs worse in person. It was worse than online dating while Covid and masks rule the world! I’m sure you could imagine what I mean by that!

Hello. Please do not get upset that we could not send you a carfax because we are not allowed to email carfaxes (their terms and conditions). We do pay and print out carfaxes on a premises, if needed. Regarding a ca-wise, we had another XC90, 2009 year, 5years newer like in showroom condition for mere 5k . You got upset that you did not have enough funds and got disappointed. We can not make perfect, new cars for 3k and you should expect that. Sorry for your loss. Thanks and good luck!
