owned a 2006 2016 2018 all crew cab 1500 series 5.3L my 2021 is the same series it does not come close to the past would not purchase another my 2020 traverse rides responds and has better comfort last time for silverados
Paint flakes and peels
Overall I am very satisfied with my truck however the paint is starting to flake and peel and GMC Canada and the dealer won’t offer any warranty or remedy. Their position is it’s normal wear and tear and happened because of the speed I drive. So if yoi drive the speed limit on highways and short sections of dirt road, this is not the truck for you. Great for city folks who never take it outside of city limits!!!
My chevy truck with 5.3
I was one of the lucky people that purchased my truck with out DFM. Over 10,000 miles on my truck and it has not given me any trouble.
